C3 headlights

Unread post by myglaren »

My daughter's C3 appears to have blown a headlight bulb.
Scheduled replacement is Saturday or Sunday (car doesn't stand still for very long :( )

Anyone know if this is a bumper-off job? Old model (56 plate). Done all the other cars but this is the first on the C3.

No need for the bumper to come off but the one on the N/S can be a bit fiddly with the battery in the way.

If you need to, you can quick un clip the battery cover box thingy to get a bit more wriggle room. Put a towel or cloth under where you are working so if the spring clip thingy flies off, it shouldn't , you can find it again. Last time I did a bulb it was a 5 minute job plus 1 hour to find the bleep thing.

Yeah, nearside quite easy if you pull the forward battery box bit off, and from memory the BSM lid.
