Depending which model that actually is, I think you will need a Unit to Radio adapter for connecting it to the radio as the later C5 use a different connection to standard ISO connections..

I had to connect my parrot handsfree to the cd player. It was deliverd with a Y stick/plug. Plug one in the car cd-cable plugg. Then You have to Pcs one for parrot and the last one for cd player. Tja parrot was just plug and play.

I fitted the same model to a Rover 75. Pulled the radio out and followed the colour coded cable instructions if I remember there was a cable and adapter plug to fit a socket in the back of the radio to allow the steering wheel controls to work. I glued the twin microphones to a little spot above the ashtray. There was a cable for an MP3 connection which I fed through the centre console to the rear ashtray area. I don't think I ever got the radio to "mute" when a call came in like the factory fit though.

I have some photos of the wiring at the back of the Rover radio but I don't know how relevant they would be.

Well, Freddie is a magnificent looking person. Are you planning on bringing him (assuming that he is a he) to any of the rallies next year. I feel certain that he would be made most welcome!

yes who needs a car alarm anyway?
I knew of someone who kept an african grey on a perch on the parcel shelf of his car whilst he was doing volenteer driving at the hospital, apparently someone broke into his car and the culprit was collered in A & E having stiches done to the back of his hand
after the parrot ripped a chunk of flesh from his hand and burst a main vein, the old passengers never got bitten by the parrot because the owner was always present when they got in the car the parrot was clever enough to know who was good and who was bad.
the bird raised the alarm to attract attention that someone unknown had tried to get in the car,
and people say "bird brain" meanning Dumb. how wrong could they be.

He only goes outside in the summer, as he was in a drafty porch he has Asama !...yep we have to boil a kettle under him (moisture) when he has a coughing session....stayed up all night a few times to help him out :(, as said Bast@@Ds

And yep....he can bite really good....but he has never done more than a pissed off nip......but you just know that little finger would come off PDQ !.
I can communicate with him far better than any dog I have had incld the collie and terrier....he knows you know :)

My cousin, Ailsa, has a Blue Headed Parrot named Ziggy. He also is asthmatic, and Ailsa helps him by smearing a little bit of Vaseline by his nostrils (which then traps most dust heading that way). He loves monkey nuts, but if they are dusty he then leaves them in his water container for a few minutes, and that sorts out the dust. He worked that trick out by himself.
