Hi,
I have a problem in that I have to hold the stalk in position to get a single wiper sweep as opposed to just moving it once. If I let go of the stalk while the wiper is in the middle of the windscreen it will just stop and sit there. All other modes work fine.
Anyone understand whats gone wrong here electrically or what I should be looking at? I dont see how fuses could be the problem if the wipers work ok in other modes.

this is a fairly common fault.
Replace your wiper timer relay, about £15
I see these quite often at work.
