C5 rear suspension bush
I think I have a problem with a rear suspension bush. As anyone got any experience of this problem? The car has 114k on the clock. Thanks for any advice / help.

Re: C5 rear suspension bush
I think you are referring to radius arm bearings, I have recently replaced them in mine. The bearing kit is about £60.00 per side but the cost of fitting them is largely down to how easily they come apart, the clips that locate the cylinder push rod can rust in and be very difficult to remove as can other parts.
You will need a press to extract the outer part of the bearing although it can be done with the aid of a welder. If you are not doing it yourself I would take it round and get a few estimates.

Re: C5 rear suspension bush
I did mine over a period of a few days but I must have spent four or five hours on it by the time I had everything unstuck.

Re: C5 rear suspension bush
Does anyone know of a shortcut to a diagram that shows the rear suspension, ideally an exploded view?
Thanks everyone for your help.

Has anybody knowledge of a plan of the rear suspension that shows all moving parts?

Re: C5 rear suspension bush
If you have a Citroen dealer near by, if you ask nice with a smile, if the guy/woman is a nice person they might print it all off for you with the works/parts/times list....they do for me locally if I need it. ( Every now and then I purchase little bits to keep them happy}
Is this what you need ?
