Dropped into my lap, a 308 that doesn't turn over. The BSI was not recognised; all its data fields were filled with the same Latin character. However, once you punch in the VIN to Pug Planet, you can interrogate most of the ECUs. However none appear configured to the BSI. The keys are learnt and the engine ECU is stated as not locked with key in and ignition on. However the car constantly displays Economy Mode.
Two questions others may have input on.
1. I suspect the BSM/PSF1 may be faulty. Should I change this before continuing with the BSI?
2. The BSI - do I use the 03114 configuration access code and then add each module the car should have in its configuration?
Think I have reinstated the VIN to the BSI already.
