Hi All
I guess this is a common problem. I managed to get a new clip, is there a thread describing how to replace the clip , or anyone can post the instructions?
Thanks
Zohar

Hi Zohar, Haynes is not too bad on this. You need to raise window lift about half way in order to get enough flex on the glass to get it over the clip and through the rubber grommet. Then you have to push the spring clip through the grommet. Make sure that the grommet is positioned so that the clip goes through horizontal or slightly up or its a real pita. Also take care with the plastic guide that runs in the door seal. I broke one of mine not realising it was there and it is now attached using araldite! Keep the rear of the glass firmly back in contact towards the rear. It feels like it might - but I haven't broken the glass yet!!

Check the rubber bush that goes through the glass is in good condition and not split. They're available from Citroen in bags of 5 for about £5. I've got 4 new ones as spares somewhere, if you want one reply on this thread and I'll sort one out. I don't know where you got your new slider from but if it has a plastic retaining clip then the retaining clip won't fit through the window bush. I used the new wire one supplied with the bush. You have to bend it a bit to get a good fit on the slider. If you do a forum search using my name, MJM, then you should find more info. I've also got some photographs if they'll help.
