Xantia horn

I've just got in from my latest attempt to replace the horn on my '95 Xantia TD LX. I say attempt, because when I looked in the places Haynes said it would be - it wasn't. I have now finally located the elusive object behind the fog light cutout in the front bumper, but it looks like the whole bumper has to come off to get to the thing (I don't have fog lights to remove, and the "cutout" is moulded into the bumper ). Stuff that. Does anyone know of a convenient point in the wiring where I can pick up a feed to the horn and just run a new wire? Or alternatively, is there an easier way of getting to the unit?

You'll find that there are in fact two horns hidden in similar places under there or at least there are on mine. The one inside the front bumper as I remember you can get at by jacking up the car and going from below (really poor access). The second one is slightly further back but in the same sort of general area...
