Xantia Hadlamp mod - Electrical Supplies

Unread post by ecohouse1 »

Morning chaps

I am looking to do the dipped beam relay mod for the Xant s2 TD. I have 2 20A relays, and am looking to order the cable and crimp connectors etc to carry out the work.

Can anyone recommend a good online supplier of cable/terminals, inline fuses etc?

Also looking at the multi plug connector as it goes into the headlight there are brown and green wires (suprisingly thin!) I was going to probe the connector with a multi meter to see which one I go into to switch the relay.

Also can you wire it in the fuse box next to the battery and can you get the circular relay mounts that clip in to it?. I have two spaces on mine for relays

Cheers

I've always had excellent service from this company based in Derbyshire http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Their catalogue (hard copy thru post or online) is full of useful odds 'n' sods for almost any wiring task on a car.

Happy wiring :-D
