hi just stuck 20quid fuel in my xsara Picasso hdi but its not showing up on fuel gauge,,any ideas was working before that it was on the last bar the red one today,so stuck 20quid in no change is there a fuse for this [-X [-X [-X

Not familiar with the Picasso, but I think I'd start with removing the lift pump and sender unit in the fuel tank just to make sure the sender isn't stuck.. Its a 5-10 minute job.

I could be mistaken but think the tank has to be dropped to access the Picasso sender.

When I first bought my current C5 the fuel guage was a bit indecisive and I attributed that to partial fills.
After a few complete fills it has worked failry normally (underestimates the remaining fuel when the low fuel warning comes up).
I always brim it and there is generally at least 10L left when it thinks it is empty.

I've come to the same conclusion in the Xantia Steve. My 62lit tank holds at least 76 lit !! :-D
