rev counter wire

anyone know what wire is for the rev counter on a mk1 berlingo 1.4 petrol (sagem).

autodata show the ecu as 1 plug where as mine has 3, it shows it as 42 going to 426, where my ecu is a row of letters and a row of numbers.

Work backwards. Connect one test lead to 426 on the dash plugs and see which socket buzzes out on the ECU connector.

i tried to remove the dash plug but couldn't, didn't want to force anything, seeing as i didnt have the same on the ecu side im not even sure i'd have a 426 on the clock side.

Try again; it's what you need (blue plug if you have the two plug dash, yellow plug if you have the 5 plug dash). Also it links to the diagnostic socket in many cases (Pin 3).

ok, 2 plugs, 1 black & 1 white, 18 pins on each plug (2 rows of 8).
