xantia battery..
here we are in winter again had xantia 2.016v 3.5 years now spring and summer no prob at all with batt, its only 4 years old 063 code any way come the winter slow turn over loss of radio code ..heavy drain on batt i know in winter..any other xanita owner had same experience?? charge is fine and starter took it off perfect..ive now bought a larger batt now ..more cranking power.my broth in law has a h reg 2.0 vauxhall sri 13 years old 100.000miles ...still on original battery!!!!

What you mean by "charge ok" [?]
When engine is at approx 1500 rev's - headlights on - you should have a voltage of 14.2 - 14.4 directly over the poles.
Also check the battery clamps for good metallic connection on the poles. If you still got the original lead clamps - get yourself a new set of clamps ASAP.
