does it need to be fitted if it should be there? mines is buggered and due an mot on wed. got a replacement on order but unlikely to be here before the mot, can i just remove it and get away with or is it a fail if its not present?
ps car is a berlingo.

No worries John, not a testable item. The 'must work if it's fitted' is (mostly) an urban myth - it's either testable and needs to be there and work, or it isn't and the tester doesn't care. Rear wiper comes under the latter.
