Talking of Xantia pulleys...

Unread post by Stewart(oily) »

Does my 2000 HDI 110 have one of those freewheeling alternator pulleys ? and if not, should it ?
because I cant feel it moving.
I am still hunting the chirp on start/stopping the engine, the crank pulley is just starting to leak powder but will not move yet.

Nope, you see them on newer replacement alternators (mine has one) but I don't believe they were standard.
