Xantia hdi 90hp tickover high

Hi.. Can anyone help.. My tickover is at 1400 rpm, I have changed Maf and Electrovalve, checked pipes for leaks and now I dont know what else to do.. There is no loss of power, but fuel consumption appears to have gone up.. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Unusual..... check that the accelerator cable is not hanging up, if not, then you will need to get it on a Lexia to see what's going on.

Put the car on my mates Pro scan and It came back with no faults.. But..... It showed the RPM at 890 !!! Rev counter is out by a mile, So headache over and the rev counter can stay as it is.
