Hello!
I have a 95 Xantia, and i am experiencing a strange problem: The interior lights come on when i break or make a sharp turn.
Have anyone else experienced this?

I'd suspect a bad earth on rear light cluster(s).

Re: Xantia interior light weirdness
Hello!
That's a good idea, but it does not occur when i hit the brakes.
Also, i just noticed when i parked the car tonight. When i lock the door, the lights turn off as usual. But just as i was about to turn around i noticed they came on again. I tinkered with this for a while but to no avail. The lights come on again about 2-3 seconds after i lock the doors and the lights go out. This might help explain why my battery was dead when i came home from a two week trip last week.
However it does not always happen...

Re: Xantia interior light weirdness
I would check the wiring in the door looms where they pass into the pillars. IIRC the position switches in the door locks also manage the interior lights, and if there is a wiring failure then this might fool them into thinking a door has opened. I hope I am right on this, but if not somebody will come along to correct me.
