Torque pro app , for citroen

Just got my self the torque pro app installed on my phone together with a bluetooth adapter for the car ( xsara picasso ,2001 1.8 16v), the only thing it seams to be able to do is read and clear fault codes and show engine rpm, all the other parameters dont function,I have tried it on other cars (2005 saab and a 2004 audi ) and most other read outs function ok,I suspect this may be down to the age and protocol type of my car as i tried a stand alone £60 generic scanner last week to the same effect,is any one else out there able to confirm what should/shouldnt function on my 2001 picasso with torque pro please, thanks.

Thanks, but I was kind of asking for citroen owners to see what works in terms of the parameters that can be read.

Hi I have Torque Pro running through a Galaxy Ace Android phone.
My car is a 2001 Citroen C5 HDi Estate. the torque pro reads revs, turbo bust, speed, MAF values and has read some fault codes and cleared them, however not all.
I had a friend read the ECU with a Snap On Solus machine and found three other faults & cleared those.
The reason I had him use the Snap On, was to initiate the factory radio to accept the multi disc player so I could use my iPod.
However he could not find those parameters.

thanks, surprised it worked on 2001 hdi c5,so far i have used it on ,
my own 2001 picasso,code read out function ony +rpm & volts,
another 2001 picasso, as above,
2002 c5 2.0 petrol,as above,
2004 renault megane diesel, full support
2005 saab turbo something,full support
2011 Citroen ds3 ,full support.
Im pretty sure its a problem down to the manufacturer/ecu,but id of thought cars from about the same year/manufacturer would be the same,can anyone else share any citroen torque app stories ?

I've got it running on my 99 hdi xantia....u know u have to build a dial display yeah?

Yes built all the displays up.which apart from rpm and volts say no data. On the page where you chose items to display they are all black. Where as suported values are highlighted green with the live reading being shown on the right

Sounds odd...so wha info does it giv u?

The only live readings i can get of the 3 petrol 2001/2002 citroens is engine rpm and voltage,the code reading function is fine,and all the other live read outs have worked well on the other cars listed above.so the only common factor is the citroens. i have obd doctor to try latter,but dont have any reservations about it being any different.

update,tried obd dr, still the same,ill put it down to the ecu and the manufacturer not unlocking enough.
