C8 airbag warning light

Anyone know what causes the airbag waning light to come on (drivers) also getting pretension fault on centre display at start up. is this a simple fix or is it one of those things that you eventualy pull the car to pieces trying to find. Doin me head in. #-o #-o #-o Its a c8 20ltr hdi 2007
