ENGINE WIRING

Hi All,
can any body help me i have a dispatch van and someone has put an engine in it but has not finished the job.
I an trying to get it running but the wiring is a mess i have a thick blue wire with a thickish spade terminal on one end, and there is another a Green with yellow bands on. Can anybody tell me where they go or can sombody send me a wiring diagram for the engine as i am realy stuck.

Hi,

If you could provide the VIN (or last 8 digits of it), along with details of the replacement engine (i.e has it been replaced with an identical engine), can see if I can get anything for you.

Green with yellow bands or dashes is definitely an earth wire; make sure it's a good grounding.

Look on the blue wire to read the three, four or five characters between asterisks that are printed recurringly on the wire.

Hi all
The thick blue wire seems to go upto the fuel pump and when I put
my test light on its live I can not see any numbers on it has anybody got any idears?

Peugeot/Citroën wiring isn't colour coded other than for earthing wires. The numbers can be quite faint.

What engine was in it - petrol or diesel, and what size?

Hi
I have got my citroen dispatch 1.9 diesel running its on a p plate
But its running a bit rough ivevgot to set
the tick over as when I take my foot off the throttle
it stops.
