xsara 1.4 8v aircon problem

hi im having trouble with my aircon in my xsara 1.4 8v

i topped the aircon gas up with one of the bottles from halfords and the clutch on the pump works but the cooling fan on the frount of the engine is supposed to start straight after you turn the ac on in the car but it doesn't any ideas why? thanks

There could be a number of reasons. Liquid overfilling, blown compressor fuse, faulty fan control module, faulty climate control panel.

thanks just realised the i worded it wrong it was meant to be the engine cooling fan

Think I may have forun the problem ther are 3 relays on the left hand side of radator the and one was corroaded will order all 3 and repot back fingers crossed
