Hi all,
I would like to get a Lexia but I have no clue how to go around getting the right one . There are variations in the ebay and amazon, so which is the right one to buy?
Can the kind souls here guide me on how to get one and what to lookout for when hunting for one ?
Thank you very much.
Regards,

Re: How do I buy a Lexia?
Really boils down to two people:
Jim @ EasyDiagostics: http://www.easydiagnostics.co.uk/#/shop ... le/4294259" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Arthur: http://www.ukpolboy.comoj.com/1_8_Lexia ... cable.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Jim (not CitroJim) has a huge amount of decent feedback on these forums, where as Arthur has some (I think 3 people have reported buying and having a good experience, none have said bad things). Seemingly all of the ones bought from Jim have worked well. All the feedback I've seen about Arthur's have been very good, and both offer remote help to get it up and running if needed.
Jim offers a £10 discount if you say you're from FCF.
Arthur's price is almost half of that of Jim's. And makes looking at the eBay ones fairly pointless (though Arthur did used to sell on eBay, which is where most of the users who have given feedback here got theirs from).

Re: How do I buy a Lexia?
What Ben82 ^^^ says.
I have an Easy Diagnostics kit. I have not yet had much use of it, but the installation was simple (but lengthy, as there is a lot to do), and the instructions work. When I contacted Easy Diagnostics to arrange purchase, they asked a lot of questions (to make sure everything would work). They did knock off the P&P cost (£9:75) when I said I was a member of this forum.
I am running mine on a Toshiba NB250, with 2GB RAM. Not the fastest netbook, but it does the job.

Re: How do I buy a Lexia?
Yep, when I bought mine back in december from eBay it was £77 without the 30pin cable, and was a fiver more or so with... so the prices have come down by about £20 since then, and Jim hasn't lowered his price in that time either, so the difference is more pronounced.john wrote:both sell the same kit but 1 sells it 1/2 the price of the other?Ben82 wrote:Jim @ EasyDiagostics: http://www.easydiagnostics.co.uk/#/shop ... le/4294259" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Do these work on the C5 Mk III ? It used to be that they couldn't cover all functions, but maybe they've improved ?
