Part descriptions in french?

Post by Old-Guy »

To communicate with the garage in France where the Xantia is lying, I'm going to need the French for a number of parts, notably strut tops "HYD SUSPENSION SPHERE BRACKET".

A friend (female) is bilingual, will translate e-mails but but is entirely ignorant of car terms in either language, so asking her to translate Citroen's sometimes rather wierd English part descriptions back into French is asking for trouble. I have an account on service.citroen, is there any way to change the language?

yes there is, in the bottom right corner of the screen when you are logged in. That would be the best way. Find all the part numbers in English first, write them down and switch the language to French. Type them in 1 by 1 in the search window and you'll get the French words...

Yes, you may change the language either on the login page, or by selecting the language at bottom right corner of the screen once logged in.

There are several people here quite proficient in French, why not ask for help in liaising?
