key plipper

Unread post by happychap »

my son showed me this one with his renault megane but it works just the same on my axantia , walk away from your car with the key plipping on and off till out of range, then, go a bit futher and put the open key on your chin with the key facing upwards to the top of you head , you can then use activate the plipper from a greater range using you head as an antenna . queer eh, but it works, try it

As educated electronics engineer it sounds sensible to me. Your head simply works like a parabolic reflector for the RF signal. Does not work with infrared transmission - as you need a mirror polished surface for reflection.
Might work on polished turkey heads though [:D]
