It is on the left side of the engine near the front, it is housed in the a round plastic cylinder with a screw on top. There are fuel pipes going in to the lid.

Hope that makes sense.

This is a 2.0 one but looks very similar.

I'm doing a mini service on the trusty C5, the fuel filter arrived today and wondered what the procedure is in changing this?

When you get the fuel filter there are 2 types listed for the 2.2, most of the time its the smaller plain one not the one with the shaped seal on the end.

the black collar unscrews, that holds the top plate down to the housing, careful when removing the pipes if you do as it is easy to break the clips, you just need to push the white plastic bar in and twist/pull it off. Make sure the new seal for the top plate is in straight and it is not twisted.

thanks guys just done it. Just a little input for anyone changing for the first time - definitely worth investing in a oil filter wrench tool to undo the collar ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toolzone-12-Oil ... ter+wrench" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). After a initial test drive, the car has stopped kangoroo'ing, which i though was a characteristic of the car...lol
