Xantia rear parcel shelf cord

Suffering from the non lifting parcel shelf, cords are now too long believe there is a citroen repair kit available for a tenner or so, anyone actually done this and how easy is it.

Part Information you need:
95669055 DISPLACMENT LIMITER 10.69 12.56
They are not difficult to fit, I have repaired (with elastic) rather than replaced mine and they are easy to get to

I cut the cords on both sides and tied a knot in the end of each where it passes through the hole, just right to lift the parcel shelf to the right height. You don't need elastic

Had the same problem on my ZX.
Went down to my local Citroen dealer, picked up a kit (£15 - i think) and it's not as difficult as you would imagine, took just 10 minutes to do.
