Need to change tail light bulb

I have a tail light bulb out (5W one built into the boot lid). I can't get the electrical connector block off. Is there a technique to it? I'm sure it click into place but can't seem to find the latch points. I need to disconnect that before I remove the bulb housing.

On some connectors you need to use a small flathead screwdriver to open the latch (as opposed to squeeze/release). However, I do not know if this is the case here.
