Lookin' good!
Not many cars of that era wear white well in my opinion, but the ZX certainly does.

Re: Zx 16v at last
That's a lovely looking ZX!
I remember the 306 S16 used to have problems with the ACAV valves as well. When they did the performance went very soggy.
The PRV 24v XM also has the ACAV system fitted to it in two stages. When you floor it in 2nd and 3rd you can feel it opening in them
David.

That looks great - white certainly does suit the 16Vs with the bodykit and nice wheels.

Re - tested this afternoon with new drop links and 2 new front tyres - been to get exhaust checked out and is fine so I think it needs a bottom engine mount - ( vibration in first gear on high revs ) Ha ha pool of water appeared in interior light which has come in through aerial mount

Re: Zx 16v at last
Just finished changing the bottom engine mount on the zx and what a fart on it was! Had to virtually destroy the old one to get it out which took many hours of banging at it with a hammer and big screwdriver - eventually got it out but with damage to the inside of the alloy carrier which I had to grind back to smooth roundness with grinding stones and drill to get the new one to fit - all done now and exhaust no longer catching on the subframe when pulling away

Re: Zx 16v at last
Sounds like you had fun Martin
. How's the acav going , have you managed to sort anything with it yet ? My Zx is in daily use now as I'm looking at getting shut of the Doblo and I run the Zx until Autumn and then weigh my options up .
