Can someone point me at the most practical way to permanently wire in accessories in a 2001 Xsara HDI ?
In the good old days it would have taken 20 minutes, tap onto the back of the ignition or the fuse box. Now of course everything is so devilishly difficult to get to, hidden away presumably so we can't hurt ourselves.
Was wanting both switched and unswitched 12v supply, so one that turns on with the ignition/accessories and one that is live 24/7.
I've had a fosick about and have concluded that it is possible to spend heaps of time exploring dead ends.
I understand that there are spare fuse slots, but how do you get to use them, seeing as they specifically designed not to be got at - do you drop the fuse box out (which looks daunting) or what?
Thanks guys,
Legbiter

If you go to e-bay and do a search for "Add a fuse" or "Add a circuit" you will see a little device that might help you out. I am about to try one. Some info on them can also be found via google.
