Help with spare key please

Hi, I've just received a shiny new spare key with transponder for my C5 from Patrick at Carkey help but for it to work I believe it has to be coded. Is anyone free to help do the 'lexia thing' and program the key to the car? Is this a lengthy process?

Have a look at the super sticky list of lexia owners. There is one in Ashford and one in Boston that might be of help to you.

How urgently do you need it sorting? I'll most likely be back in Gravesend for a week in early June, and could bring mine back we me... Otherwise I believe h20cooler is in the medway towns so would be closest.

EDIT: Should answer the 2nd question too... No, not a lengthy process, 20 mins max, I assume you have the confidential code too for your car (4 characters alphanumeric, not the one you get from Patrick)?

Ben, Many thanks for your kind offer. No its not urgent as have one fully working key when bought the car a few weeks ago. June will be fine tho away in Germany for a few days around the 12th.
I do not have the key card code but do have a card labelled as key code with a 7 digit code written on it in biro, I assumed this was the number required. It is not a prob as I have a citroen dealer within walking distance so can get the correct code. Please PM me a mobile number and I'll call with address etc.

That'll be Hidsons then The 7 digit code will be the mechanical key code (for getting new keys cut), not the confidential code (for pairing them to the car). It'll look something like 10X5 or FL8W.

I can cover Gravesend once in a blue moon (read: about one week every 2 months), but that's probably not handy for most that need a lexia session.
