Is is normal to have this noise and play in driveshaft ?

Got a creaking noise happening when moving off and when braking so thought id have a look under the car and noticed that there is noise while pushing down on the suspension hard and fast that looks as if it is coming from the lower control arm but took the wheel off anyway for a closer look and noticed play in the driveshaft while rocking back and forth.

and no it aint meant to do that, are you sure its the diff and not the drive shaft triack/inner joint
