Peugeot 306 keypad

Post by repairer »

We are repairing a Peugeot 306 petrol for a customer that he bought from a salvage auction, unfortunatly he does not have the keypad number, the catch is we want to drive the car for the VIC as the car was a CAT C total loss, till we get the VIC done we cannot get a logbook to contact the previous owner, is there anyway round activating the keypad? One other point worth mentioning, is that both lights, green and red are lit with the ignition on, reading other posts in this forum would suggest a fault, is this true? if so any pointers to where I should look? impact damage was to the front end. Any help would be much appreciated.

Its possible to get a specialist to decode the ecu. A friend had to have his decoded. If it helps I can ask who did it etc. Most had the code 1111 as i've ever noticed.

if the inertia switch has been triggered in the accident then this will bring both lights on.
if the switch hasnt been triggered then it usually means either the keypad is locked out (entering the wrong code to meany times) or there is missing feed or earth at the ECU or injection relay (assuming its a petrol).
