Xsara Picasso 1.6i 8v 2000 oil differance??

hi all

so i have brought a picasso 1.6 8v on a 2000 year and what i was wondering is has anyone tried them on a 5w-30 semi oil like the one you get for the ford zetec i know that there ment to have 10w-40 semi with different specs but what harm would this do? but i have about 15ltrs of this 5w-30 left from another car so would like to use it up if i could lol

5/30 will be fine, we use it in the TU engines all the time, no issues .
