sump plug on 1.4 meganne

sump plug on 1.4 meganne
Hi a bit of a shot in the dark but the sump plug on my meganne is proving impossible for me to get out, has anyone had this problem and did they overcome it somehow, any advice would be appreciated many thanks

Dear Bill,
Normally a half inch drive ratchet with the appropiate adapter, would suffice to undo a sump plug Bill
If it is a little stubborn to shift, I find that if you give your ratchet handle a belt with a fairly large rubber mallet, should get it shifted Bill.
If it still doesnt move, you can use a half inch drive wheel brace ( a breaker bar that you would crack wheel nuts off with ) would ok to use.
