Hi All,
Went out this morning and found slow puncture of F/O/S tyre changed same and thought will check the annoying rattling in the exhaust system, to find the rattle was within the cat.
Went to remove spare and found some water under the carpet in the boot
What next .
I've kept the old cat and I'm think of getting the cat sorted. It has broken where the rear pipe meets the cat at weld. Hopefully this will work and I can send the 6 month old cat back to the seller and see if they will sort something out.
Kenny

Oh dear Kenny Ahh well, not difficult jobs...
You know diesels don't need cats in the UK so you'd may as well weigh it in ad get a bit of dosh for it and put it toward a bypass pipe...

Hi Jim,
Yes make non cat was a thought, but a rugby friend knows a very good welder who has welded the old one together again SWMBO needs car to travel to work . So I'll just get the kit from Citroen and fight with company I bought it off.
I've had the leak in the previous Xantia and sorted it with silicon sealant, got my daughter's car to sort this weekend not a citroen but a Focus rear barke discs to ft.
