Xantia rear suspension fault.

Unread post by Jaxs »

I have a problem with the rear suspension on an Xantia, the main pipe from the HP pump fractured due to a broken mounting bolt, New bolt, new pipe fitted, front spheres hard, new( from GSF ) fitted and system working, then .. lost rear suspension, broken plactic link, new link fitted, suspension then too high..... reset, front only a fraction too high.....road test, all OK.. switch off.... come back to car after twenty minutes, start car, rear suspension drops to lowest position.
Check rear suspension link, OK, make sure linkage is free on Height corrector, OK, suspect Height corrector, replaced, no difference, crack union at height corrector, virtually no presure.
Gentlemen, your comments, please

Sounds as though you may have crushed a pipe somewhere?

No crushed pipes... One guy was mumbling about a security switch that needed resetting?
Possible with a Snap On fault code scanner....??
