Pug 405 166k miles. Near-side needs replacement. I was hoping to mark ends of torsion bar / anti-roll bar against trailing arm to retain ride hieght etc. and basically pull trailing arm off bars and out of suspension cross tube. Is this a reasonable job or a pig? Someone mentioned cross tube problems due to rust/age (10 1/2 years).
Would a full suspension assembly replacement (if I can find one) be an easier task.
