Boost Problems

Hi again I am still having problems with the leaking boost on my 2.2 C5 I have now obtained a blanking plate from ebay and fitted it the engine seems to run a little better with this in place.one thing i havent mentioned in previous posts is that when i was checking the inter cooler pipes for leaks I had the pipe off that goes to the inter cooler and when i revved the engine it seemed a lot more free revving and when connected the engine seems to hold back or be restricted in some way its hard to describe with words its like the boost is causing excessive back pressure like i have said in previous posts this started to happen after i changed the swirl diaphragm. any help as always would be much appreciated Regards Ian
