C5 HPI Pump, different brand question

I have noticed the C5 HPI seems to come with a Siemens branded high pressure fuel pump, but on eBay there are a few for sale that were bought as replacements few years ago to replace original faulty one and these are branded Continental . Did they do a brand change because the Continental ones are better do not suffer the common HPI fault like the Siemens ones?
