A friend of mine has just bought a 1997 19TD Xantia and all was fine until today when the car rose as normal at the rear but remained down at the front; it will only rise when put in max height mode and then stays there until the lever is moved to full down mode, I suspect that the front height corrector is probably the culprit but would hope that someone could confirm this...
Cheers

Sounds like the plastic ball link has come off, common enough, requires a new one though or it will happen again.
Check the linkages to see if they are free, this can also cause the link to come off.
Make sure its safe to venture underneath by using proper axle stands, one yank on the mechanism can bring it down on top of you.
Dave
p.s. anti sink sphere only fitted at the rear, front does not have anti sink sphere.
