Having seen that everyone else with a black C4 Coupe (Citroening, Captain Slower & Davie) all have a thread on their cars, thought I'd better do one myself!
Bought the car last year after writing off the last one(don't ask!)
Love the look of them from all angles, so different from usual Golf/Focus/Auris etc. Inside the speedo pod is digital and lit up, the tacho is a bar graph that goes red at limit (so addictive!) and the steering wheel boss stays still so the stereo controls etc are always right where you left them.

Interior cleaned as well & got some of the shiny stuff off, thanks to C4Owners member Commodore who sent me some G101 which worked really well.

To be continued, when I have a chance (especially if I can work out how to put in more than 3 images at a time!).

Lovely! But then I'm biased. Glad you got the stupid shiny stuff off the dash, that's one of my pet hates! One day mine will be as shiny as yours lol

Ive found a couple of 2.0HDi VTS Coupes which I might wlel go look at

Fake Concern's is the mighty VTS 180!

Very nice indeed! Didnt realise it was as high spec as it was - Leather and a Panoramic Roof too!

Any plans to come along to some meets?

Yours & mine are twins! During the week it is usually as dirty (or dirtier) than yours!

Thanks. Before I got the first one I looked at Diesels, but this time I only wanted the 180!

I may come to the X Rally, if the girls are interested (& if I have had a chance to try out my DA polisher before then, can't be shown up too much!)

A couple of weeks ago I got fed up with the slight blow from the centre section of the exhaust so I chose a stainless steel standard replacement system from Longlife in Hastings

If the photos work, then it's thanks to Davie!

I REALLY like that C4 Vts , the next big job on my Zx16v is a stainless system .

My exhaust is on hold just now, it's the centre section that's blowing also. I've been wondering what type of tailpipe I'm going to get, after seeing yours it's definitely going to be twin pipes, aka a shotgun as my son in law calls it. Good to see you have the photos sussed, it looks superb clean. Due to circumstances haven't got mine washed yet. You would think it's grey with the salt on it! Have you a photo of your engine bay? Specifically the left side of the engine. I am convinced there is a bit missing on mine, there's a belt and pulley, I think it may even be the cambelt, looks as if it should be covered, but out in the open.

It can bee seen just below and to the left of the dipstick.

I put a tank of Shell V-power into it, and the mpg has gone up by 3.3, and car feels a wee bit torquier at lower revs. Mind you. over 7000 revs and the rev counter going red is highly addictive! Should come with a health warning

Davie, I don't think there is anything missing, that's the aux belt, I think & mine is the same, see pic (from advert) below;

And Franklin thanks for the positive comments, still not as black & shiny as your though!

Thanks, I thought the exhaust was going to be a bit too loud for me to start with, but it has got quieter. Nice & rorty when on the gas, but standard sounding when cruising.

You should see it at the moment!

Currently got a weeks worth of dirt/mud on it as well as the snow too...

Really looking forward to giving it the Megiuars treatment ready for the X Rally next fortnight.

Your engine bay is very clean though - impressive!

Tempted with a S/S system in the near future...
