MOT today......

Unread post by old'uns »

....first one for me, 2nd for car.
passed OK, emissions slightly higher than average for year apparently but no great issue.
advisory.....' Front O/S suspension unit has slight leak'.....Tester says not leaking as such so i'm assuming usual misting which looks worse than is?
Old one was the same on both fronts yet same Test Station passed with no advisory.

I'll have to have a proper look later when OH gets back.

Just a case of keeping eye out or are the later ones prone to more leaks than the series 1 ?
currently '06 C5 2.0 HDi auto estate Tip run and France trekker - well should be!! occupied currently by '10 Superb DSG 170 elegance- whistles and bells that work

Usually I give my C5's suspension legs a wipe before I take it for MOT. Last year I forgot. Tester told me there was a "slight leak - but it's nothing to worry about"

Had this on mine last year too. I'll give it a wipe down before going in this May.
