loss of power blue smoke

Hi all
on way home from work today my c8 2.2 hdi lost power to the extent that is was crawling up a small hill having to put the car into 1st just to get it up. no warnings on the dash. took it to my mates house and plugged it into his diagnostics and got 2 fault codes p0026 p00c2 ?? checked hoses from turbo and no bust ones were obvious, cleared fault and went to drive off when the car started revving up on its own and blowing blue smoke out the exhaust, killed the engine and left it at the mates house till morning. can anyone tell me what to look for ? are we talking blowen turbo or vacum leak ? turbo has been getting louder lately and fuel echonomy is down a bit as well. any thoughts will help.

sorry also noticed some oil under the car after we were revving it a bit once we cleared the fault.

Engine revving up on own can mean that turbo seals are leaking and engine is running of the oil going in to the air intake.

Is there a lot of oil in the large air intake hose?

when we popped the hoses there was some oil in there but not massive amounts, if it is turbo seals are we talking new turbo ??

A bit of oil is normal, turbo seals means new or reconditioned turbo.

Could be a dropped valve.
