207 wing mirror

hi guys, my wife has a 2009 pug 207. the passenger side wing mirror has become loose? its only being held on with mechanism for remote shifting. can any one tell me .........do i remove the door card to find out the problem or there is a side repeater just under the mirror? do i remove this to get to the fixings? there are no marks on it i dont think its been walloped by a passing car its just really loose like something internally has come apart? cheers

I'd bet it's broken inside.

You'll need to remove the trim panel, and probably peel back the water shield.
