Heated Xantia Mirrors

Near side heated wing mirror not working.
Popped it out and tested the input cables. 12v all ok.
whats the ohms for the mirror please?
Bet they are well expensive??????
Or whats the best way to test.

The mirror glass have a heater track glued on to the rear - should have in vicinity of 10-20 ohms when testing wires for resistance.
The mirror glass should be available as separate spare.

why not pop out the offside one & use that to test it.I dont think the mirror glasses are that expensive.

When I was young and poor I modifyed my mirrors by aralditing a piece of resistance wire from an old electric fire bar onto the back of my mirrors to make them heated ( old pug 305 didn't have heated mirrors ). If you know what resistance should be by measuring the working one you could repair the faulty one.
