Xantia – fault in the remote control

Using the Lexia I got the following failure to the remote control
“Remote control battery disconnected”. An aftermarket device is installed and the original key remote has no effect although I verified that it sends an RF signal when the lock/unlock keys are pressed. With the car I got a separate remote that do lock/unlock the doors and when lock it also lifts all the windows. I guess that when the aftermarket device was installed the original remote was disconnected. How can track this and re-install the original remote

The RF pickup box for the PLIP lives behind the glove box...

You need to remove the glove box, and possibly the passenger air bag, (about 30 8mm nuts) ..

It then sits ontop of the Body computer and trafficmaster box..
