Xantia Front Hub question.

Ive had a look on service citroen, but there was no actual part number for what I could see..

My Q is, I know theres various disk sizes, and calipers between the standard hatch, the V6/Activas, and the estates... but What I need to know is this:

Are the Hub Carriers on Standard Hatch the same as estates?? As Said I KNOW estates use bigger brakes, but is this a caliper thing..

What I want to do, is re-condition a Hub with a new bearing and bottom ball joint and fit it straight onto a P reg Estate TD so there minimal off road time for the car. Ive only got Hatch Hub carriers.

Looks like there are only 2 variants, Paul - one for the lesser variants, and the other for 2.1TD / 2.0T / V6 / HDi 110. Same part for Mk1 and 2, no different hatch / estate.

Sorry, to drag this again but to be sure then, If I fit a new bearing and bottom ball joint to a HATCH Hub, then fitting it to an ESTATE, both cars XUD9TE, the bigger caliper and bigger disk will all fit on no problems??

i think so Paul,
isnt the main difference with the larger calipers and discs just the caliper carrier only
