Well, I posted on facebook about the clutch clip breaking on my old bus, almost 4yrs and 44k miles in.

I'd done one one a mk2 before and the bolt was in the easy way ont that one, mine had the bolt in where the head was next to the brake pedal. I'd read in previous posts about people slackening off the nut enough to cut the bolt head off.

This may have been done before but I just slackend the doseur valve nuts off to the last few turns on them, lifted the carpet out of the way and the pedal cleared the bolt easily.
