does anyone know if a cylinder head from a 1.9d will fit a 1.9td?

It will physically fit, but it isn't the same. The compression ratio will be wrong, and (I seem to remember) the cam profile is different.

If its a cheap car and you have a cheap head available I would give it a go. I fitted a head from a non turbo 2.2 CX diesel on to a 2.5 turbo and it ran for years.

Re: zx cylinder head
I doubt very much you will see much difference !
The heads are physicaly the same as far as water and oil ways go from block to head.. Apparently there is a cam profile difference but Ive never noticed it..
Compression ratios are set with gasket thinkness arent they?? They are all Flat Face design...
If you were closer, Id sell you a TD Head, Ive got a couple here from Xantia Blocks. One I took off a tired block which I beleve is perfectly fine as there was no compression issues, just breathing... which was from the block.
