Megane 111 2009 airbag light

The airbag light came on when i started the car this morning. It was ok the day before. I get the ok sign after the check systems until i move off then at 2-3 mph there is a click and the light comes on. I have heard of underseat wiring problems . Any ideas please.

Without getting a Clip on it, I'd say disconnect the battery, leave for 15 minutes, then unplug each seat, check for corrosion, spray socket and plug with contact cleaner and re-assemble. If you're lucky all all will be OK but it could be that the rotary connector (clockspring - behind the steering wheel) has gone faulty. A good diagnostics session would help pin down where you need to look.

I cleaned the seat connectors with ACF50 and all seems to be well.
