Bleeding brakes 306 hdi abs

Post by Welshy_Pete »

Hello I've changed some brake pipes on my 306 hdi with abs. So I need to bleed them in this order?

osr, nsr, osf and nsf

thanks

Depends if you changed the back pipes that form a "U" onto the trailing arms - these are the ones I find always block up.

If you didn't change any at the back, just bleed the fronts well.

If you changed pipes at the back, safety wire the pressure regulation valve fully open (pull the wires up tight!) to simulate a full load of 400-500kg in the car. Then bleed the fronts, then the backs, then the fronts again, then the backs again. Sometimes you need to put the rear calipers up on certain models with a wood block between the pads instead of the disc, so the bleed screw is right at the caliper top.
