Another topic I don't remember seeing, but they do come thick and fast.....
On selecting cruise control, screen message about it malfunctioning, with the Service caption coming on.
It was fine on the last long journey, plenty used.
Again, didn't experience this with the last C5, and of course the good old Haynes manual doesn't deal with it.
Is there a standard gremlin? The car is under warranty.

Re: C5 cruise control
Mine did that (56 plate), only once. On deselecting Cruise but the engine also went into limp mode. I pulled over at the next motorway services, stopped and restarted the engine. The issue went away. A code was logged after some Lexia interrogation but it was deleted and never came back.

Re: C5 cruise control
Thanks, TT, this fault also went away after 2 days and has not come back again. I asked at a garage where I might find a connector, only to be advised that there probably isn't one, the feed coming directly from the ECU. Sounds unlikely, there has to be a connector somewhere.
Anyway, for now I'll put it down to damp weather.......

Re: C5 cruise control
No, Hellrazor, just thinking that (nearly) every wire has a connector somewhere.
I see you were answering a question about a later model, concerning its diagnostic socket whereabouts.
